Oh how we adore our maple here in Canada! So it's no surprise many a sweet maple dessert hails from our province of Quebec, boasting the country's wealthiest supply of maple sap and production, followed by New Brunswick, Ontario, and Nova Scotia. Fans and followers of Dessert by Deb have been intimately acquainted with maple teas for years (hello Maple Butter Shortbread, Coconut Maple Custard, and friends!) so of course a new addition to the Canadian family had to be made for the Oh Canada collection! But not just any old blend. Oh no, a milky, warm sweet maple oolong addition inspired by Quebec's historically famous and beloved maple pudding cake, pouding chômeur. You're welcome!
