Hello, World! A New Adventure Begins
It is Wednesday, May 15, 2019, the eve of Dessert by Deb's grand opening and website launch and I am a giant bundle of nerves! I am excited, exhausted, scared, nervous - many emotions rolled into one. Days, weeks, and months of work have now come down to this moment and I can barely believe it is here.
I feel like I say this to myself every year because my life has taken so many twists and turns in the past decade but so much has happened and changed in the last year. I put one business to bed, The Sugared Teacup, and started a new one. I went on my very first trip overseas to London, England, my dream destination, on a Harney & Sons tea tour no less! I started a part time job at Lemon Lily that makes me so happy it's crazy. In between all of that joy, there have been worries, heartaches, tears, disappointments, and wake-up calls; it's only natural that there would be a yin to a yang. But in spite of the struggles, and the growth and changes that still need to happen, I look at my life and I am happy. So happy. Three words that have never been truer: trust the process.
